Designed by Adidas, this shirt is a piece of enormous historical value for the Torcida Tricolor, as it marks the transition to one of the club's most glorious eras. The jersey featured the traditional and majestic design of maroon (tricolor) and green vertical stripes, separated by thin white lines, standing out with a clean white V-neck collar, the three Adidas stripes on the shoulders, and the main sponsorship of Unimed.

This elegant armor was immortalized by being the kit with which Flu won the Campeonato Carioca 2012 and laid the football foundations to be crowned Brasileirão champion at the end of that same year. It was defended by a squad full of stars such as the lethal and iconic striker Fred, the magic and vision of the Luso-Brazilian international Deco, the unbalancing play of Thiago Neves, the deployment of midfielder Jean and the solidity of central defender Diego Cavalieri under the three posts.
