Designed by Olympikus, this shirt is one of the most sacred and historically significant relics of the Nação Rubro-Negra, as it was the armor with which the club broke a 17-year drought without reigning in the country. The jersey featured the traditional red and black horizontal stripes, but with a thick and powerful design that included gold details on the seams, a very classic black polo collar, and the main sponsorship of Petrobras.

This legendary jersey was immortalized in the club's golden pages as the kit with which Flamengo was crowned Brasileirão 2009 Champion after a historic comeback in the second half of the season. It was worn by a team of that era led by the triumphant return of Adriano "The Emperor" (top scorer of the tournament), the magic and Olympic goals of Serbian Dejan Petković, the effort of midfielder Elias, the grit of Chilean Maldonado, and the safety under the sticks of Bruno.
