Designed by Adidas, this historic shirt is one of the most valuable cult pieces for collectors, as it was the armor used to commemorate the club's Centenary (1892-1992) and the inaugural season of the newly formed Premier League.

The design featured Anfield's traditional deep red with a revolutionary and daring element: the three large white stripes of the Adidas Equipment temple crossing diagonally over the right shoulder. In addition, it incorporated a crossed white polo collar and a special retro Centenary crest embroidered on the chest, also debuting the mythical Carlsberg sponsorship that would mark the next two decades.

It was the shirt worn in a year of enormous nostalgia and history, immortalized by the legendary goal scorer Ian Rush, the flair of a young Steve McManaman, the versatility of Mark Wright and the speed of John Barnes.
