The jersey featured a crisp white base combined with royal blue details on the polo collar, sleeves, and AIG sponsorship, while also maintaining the embroidered crest with the commemorative inscription of the 40th anniversary of that first European feat. It was the elegant gala armor used in specific Premier League and Champions League matches, remembered for being the last white jersey worn by Cristiano Ronaldo in his first spell at Old Trafford, accompanied by the power of Wayne Rooney, the class of Ryan Giggs, and the solidity of Paul Scholes.
