Designed by Adidas for the 2010 South Africa World Cup, this jersey is remembered as one of the "Tri's" most innovative and dynamic kits, breaking with traditional designs to embrace a modern and aggressive aesthetic for the first World Cup on the African continent.

The shirt featured a vibrant flag green base, but its true distinguishing feature was the fabric's texture: a sublimated eagle feather pattern covering the entire chest and back, paying direct homage to the eagle warriors of Aztec culture and the national symbol. The design also incorporated an elegant "V" neck in white with red trim, shades that were also repeated in the three Adidas stripes on the shoulders and in the sleeve details, achieving a perfect representation of the flag's colors.

This imposing bicentennial armor was the kit with which Mexico played memorable matches on African soil, including the historic victory against France. It witnessed the World Cup debut of a very young Javier "Chicharito" Hernández, the audacity of Giovani dos Santos and Carlos Vela, the veteran goal-scoring of Cuauhtémoc Blanco and the eternal leadership of captain Rafael Márquez.
