Designed by Adidas, this jersey marked the beginning of the post-Maldini and post-Kaká era with a strong retro-inspired design and superb classic elegance. It featured the traditional red and black vertical stripes in an intermediate width, but the great differentiating element was its majestic white knit polo collar, matching the sleeve cuffs and the brand's three stripes on the shoulders, sporting the bwin sponsorship for the last season. It was the home kit with which the rossonero team competed in Serie A and the Champions League under the direction of Leonardo, worn by the magic of Ronaldinho (in his most assists year), the goal scorer Marco Borriello, Alexandre Pato, Andrea Pirlo and Clarence Seedorf.
