Designed by Nike, this shirt is one of the most elegant and significant of the late 90s, as it welcomed the French revolution of Arsène Wenger. The design stood out for its traditional red body with white sleeves, but incorporated a sophisticated white polo collar with a thin red and navy line, matching cuffs, and the legendary sponsorship of JVC. In addition, the fabric featured a subtle textured graphic pattern with the club's crest. It was the home kit with which Arsenal began to amaze England, worn by a spectacular Dennis Bergkamp, the legendary striker Ian Wright, an imposing Patrick Vieira in his debut season, and the eternal captain Tony Adams.
