Designed by Umbro, this shirt is one of the most complex, detailed, and fascinating pieces of the Scottish club's nineties aesthetic. The jersey maintained the sacred green and white horizontal stripes but incorporated an intricate geometric pattern of zigzag filigree and watermark shamrocks from the crest that covered the entire fabric, giving it a satin finish very characteristic of the era. The design was completed with a crossed white polo collar featuring green trim and the iconic sponsorship of the paint brand CR Smith. This iconic armor dressed a season of great grit and European nights at Celtic Park, immortalized by the goal-scoring flair of Charlie Nicholas in his second spell at the club, the omnipresence of captain Paul McStay, the flashes of winger John Collins, and the finishes of Irish striker Tommy Coyne.
