Designed by Fila, this shirt marked the beginning of a new aesthetic era for the Tartan Army by breaking with years of tradition alongside Umbro, offering a clean and modern design at the beginning of the new millennium. The kit featured the classic navy blue background, but stood out for its striking white panels on the shoulders and armpits to improve ventilation, complemented by a sporty crew neck and the federation's crest proudly centered on the chest. This armor was used during the qualification process for Euro 2004 under the command of Berti Vogts, being defended on the field by figures such as Barry Ferguson, Christian Dailly, Paul Dickov and a young Darren Fletcher.
