Designed by Puma for the 2006 World Cup in Germany, this jersey is one of the greatest monuments in football history, as it was the armor with which the Azzurra conquered their fourth World Cup. The shirt featured a base of the traditional azzurro blue with a modern and aerodynamic design under Teamgeist technology, which stood out for its striking faded black panels under the armpits and on the sides to stylize the figure, in addition to an elegant inverted V-neck with gold details. With the new FIGC crest shining on the chest, it was the sacred skin immortalized by Marco Materazzi's header and Fabio Grosso's decisive penalty in the Berlin final against France, crowning the majestic and unbeatable performance of captain Fabio Cannavaro (Ballon d'Or), the saves of Gianluigi Buffon and the genius of Andrea Pirlo and Alessandro Del Piero.
