Designed by Asics for the France '98 World Cup, this away kit shares the absolute legend status of its home counterpart, completing one of the most beautiful, iconic and coveted uniform duos in the history of football collecting.

The jersey featured a base of pristine, satin white, but maintained the element that turned this collection into a cult work of art: the spectacular flames sublimated on the shoulders and sleeves. In this alternate version, the fire roared with a brutal contrast in samurai blue and bright red colors, creating an anime-inspired aesthetic that exuded dynamism and power. Like the home kit, it did not feature the brand logo on the chest and was finished with an elegant white polo collar with subtle blue and red trim.

This mythical white armor was the kit in which the "Blue Samurai" played their historic second World Cup match against Davor Šuker's Croatia, wearing the elegance and panache of a young Hidetoshi Nakata, the dedication of midfielder Hiroshi Nanami, the speed of Shoji Jo, and the grit of captain Masami Ihara.
