Designed by Reebok at the beginning of their historic journey with the club, this shirt is one of the most beloved of the 90s for its imposing style and for representing the joyful and ultra-offensive football of the Reds.

The jersey featured Anfield's traditional deep red with a unique design: a spectacular and gigantic elastic knit polo collar with white and red stripes that gave it a very urban and nineties feel. Like its cream-colored counterpart, the fabric of the shirt had the Liver Bird crest embossed (jacquard) throughout the fabric. The main crest on the chest appeared centered and oversized, framed in a traditional coat of arms, and proudly displayed the white sponsorship of Carlsberg.

It was the home armor with which Roy Evans' team amazed England, immortalized by the explosion and goal-scoring debut of a very young Michael Owen, the brilliance of "God" Robbie Fowler, the speed of Steve McManaman and the leadership of Jamie Redknapp.
