Designed by Nike, this jersey is an absolute gem from the "Mengão Centenário" era and the turn of the new millennium. The kit featured the sacred and imposing horizontal red and black stripes, but with a stylized and clean thickness typical of Nike's designs of the time, incorporating an elegant black round neck and the iconic Lubrax sponsorship in white letters on a yellow background on the chest.

This historic armor was forever etched in the memory of the Nação Rubro-Negra as it was the jersey with which the club conquered the historic Tricampeonato Carioca (1999-2000-2001) in an agonizing and unforgettable final against Vasco da Gama.
